Default New Guy Round Here

Hey guys, Im the new guy,,lol I think this place looks pretty cool. Pitbulloffroad told me about this site, so I came to lok it over and love it. Especially with the hunting section!.. Hell, from September till January, all I think about is hunting big whitetails, and through April, its chasin turkeys.. and the rest of the year is building and playing in trucks! So I can get my fix for both here..

Ive always had lots of toys, and loved lifted trucks, Jeeps, and playing in the mud, and last year, I built my first serious play only vehicle, it was a 95 S-10 on a blazer frame with 1 tons, 44 boggers, and a mildly built 454! It was a blast, and I regret trading it off,, but its been gone since last November. It got traded for a 2 ton ford with a pickup body on it and 48s, but no motor, and it sat killing grass till late this spring when I sold it due to lack of interest. Now Im building a 90 Chevy Ext cab short bed with a 383 Stroker, 5 speed trans with stock t-case(for now) then into a divorce 205 case built by Naeger at Custom Differentials, and then into 2 1/2 ton Rocks sitting under 21 inch Deaver Springs and SAS! I havent hung the case yet, and am just getting the axles hung under it, but it should be up and going very soon. Im running 48x25x20 V-treads as soon as I recenter my wheels and paint them. Ill post pics once it is sitting on the axles(front is in, and rear springs are in). Cant wait to get to know some of you guys, and bring my truck out for a ride sometime.. Oh, and Im from Missouri. Im in Salem, home of Flatnasty if anyone here crawls...

Welcome Angus.. I would have keep that S-10 but I don't like to let go of much.. I rather blow it up than let some one have it for a price, I can't sell it for the time I have put in to it and thought... Than they can have it cause I got my fun out of it... Woooo Weeee

Thanks a ton for the welcomes guys! Im pretty excited, I just got back in the house from getting my rear Rockwell hung under the truck. I went out to weld on my spring perches, and by the time I was done I had it under the truck and bolted in. This is my biggest build by far, and Im proud that Im doing right here at home, with no garage(that it will fit in) or even concrete for that matter, and getting it all done with a big cherry picker a small compressor and lots of ingenuity!lol I still have to put in my divorced case, build driveshafts, install and hook up my hyd steering, and recenter my wheels and mount the tires, and other than some little piddly stuff like a couple gauges, waterproofing, gusseting and bracing, it will be all finished up, and ready to tear up..lol Damn, its also hard around to get help when you start a project like this,, I cant get anyone to show up, even if I buy the beer! Ill take pics in the morning in the light and try to post some pics of it somewhere on here. Thanks again for the warm welcome!
